Key take-aways we learned in 2020

Spring is coming, and we are slowly getting a first glimpse of the possibilities and opportunities that lie ahead after a year filled with restrictions.

At Photoflyer we are already thinking about all these possibilities and opportunities. How can we help our customers get in touch with their customers. What type of events and activations will be possible again, next month, or in two months, we are thinking about all the different ways for you to use photoflyers.

These past twelve months we have been tested, but more importantly, we have also learned a lot. Some key take-aways from Photoflyer:

1. Be more mobile and socially distanced.

Keeping a 1.5‑meter (6ft.) distance is something we are all familiar with nowadays. This 1.5‑meter distance is also very convenient when approaching someone on the street for taking a picture. You’re not in their personal space’ and you come off as less aggressive. Something we have known at Photoflyer for quite some time. After all, that’s the correct distance for taking a proper picture.

The old days are over where you hoped that people just simply come to your booth. You need to come to them. Photoflyers give you the mobility to move around and avoid crowding up. 

2. Stop the free-candy!’ conversation.

I hear you think, what do you mean? We all know them and see them on the streets. Those sampling free’ products, but in the end, they want you to subscribe or buy something. 

Be more creative, be more interesting, make people smile first. Using a tool like a photoflyer really helps breaking the ice. Getting your brand’s message across to your customers, without trying to sell something.

3. Use your photoflyers whenever it’s convenient for you.

We don’t know when current restrictions will be lifted, but what we do know is that you can always order photoflyers.

We advise you to refrain from using dates and time-/specific communication on your photoflyer. That way if your event/​activation gets cancelled at the last minute, you can still use your photoflyers later.

Or more importantly, our photoflyers can be in-house within two to four business days. Which means you can order them at the last minute and still have a great photo marketing tool at your event. Safe costs and frustration. 

4. Using new’ technologies we all got used to in lock-down.

This past year has been very frustrating for many, but it was also a year in which we got more creative with the use of existing technologies. QR-codes are now more than ever part of our consumer behavior. We easily scan QR-codes for all different occasions. Simply use them whenever you need conversion. However, keep in mind that you put them on things you like to receive yourself. A photoflyer perhaps?

Everyone is eagerly waiting to get back to business, and of course us at Photoflyer are no different. Getting in touch with our customers again. In large groups or in smaller groups, we want to get our brand’s message across again. Photoflyers are a great way to achieve this. Let us help you get your message across.
